1) Get Rid of Lag & Texture Loading Delays….Finally….Please!

I’ve been in SL for over 4 years and in that time lag has always been an issue. Why? Even now if there are more than 20 avatars in one place it’s a struggle for me or anyone else to get around, see the sights and shop. Maybe that’s what they want,  for all transactions to take place via a simple web frontage… but then it wouldn’t be a interactive 3D world would it?

A smaller version of BlueBelle Cottage

Windlight Wonder

The new range of cottages have proved popular and I’ve been really glad that people like them. However a few people have asked for a smaller version of BlueBelle for more modest parcels so here she is, Lavender Cottage.

It’s based on the Riverside and BlueBelle Cottage templates but obviously with a different colour way, hence the name. The layout inside is also different, it makes more of the upstairs space but with an overall smaller footprint. It has a distinct coastal cottage feel and I will be adding some nautical type accessories over the next few weeks.

I’ve been busy making more new furniture for the store but am rapidly running out of prims! So I’ve decided to make a gorgeous but really primmy Asian Beach Hut.

It looks great by the ocean, on the beach or by a river. It has lots of animated cuddles (very realistic looking) texture change floors and flowers, open close blinds and built in candles, which have a soft flickering light and can also be turned on and off. There are also over 30 sit animations all menu controlled and adjustable.

Butterscotch Cottage Coming Soon!

I can’t believe that my last post was at Christmas although the UK weather looks as though Christmas and winter are coming back what with all the snow at the moment.

It’s March already and I’ve  been a tad relaxed in keeping up my blogging plus RL been really busy and I’ve been improving my knowledge of Mesh. But I have been working on a new cottage called Butterscotch, named after something warm, delicious and yummy to help counteract the horrible weather, the cold, the sleet etc. Although, of course it is NEVER cold in Secondlife and if you want the sun shines all the time!

This cottage is work in progress so these pics are to whet your appetite and the cottage should be finished and tested in the next month or so. It has a conservatory, verandah, texture change and delicious butterscotch panel textures. Sign up to this blog to keep up to date with new releases and dates for when Butterscotch will be for sale.
